And it’s out! Listen to KARAOKE

Ronny Taylor new record:

Down here their new single “Carlini“. That’s what Ronny Taylor say about the video:

“Basically we just wanted to centre people on the song instead of the video. We could have left just the artwork of the album (thanks N. Likt Icon for that) but the message wouldn’t have been so strong. So in “Carlini” there’s nothing to see… Actually you find just us, sitting in silence, waiting for you to press play and enjoy” Read here the whole interview on OUTsiders.

Ronny Taylor were born in november 2010, in Turin.

They say: «Basically, the idea is to play instrumental tracksWe did some gigs in Turin and some people got crazy about it and kept following us. Our second album is all instrumental and is obviously called “Karaoke” – we recorded it at the DamJam Studio.

Before Karaoke we did a self-recorded demo of 4 songs, back in 2011; then, in October 2013 came out “Dateci i soldi” which has 8 tracks and it’s self-recorded too. We have played with Guthrie Govan Band, Calibro 35, Linea 77, Movie Star Junkies, Mojomatics, Fast Animals and Slow Kids, Brunori Sas, Fuzz Orchestra, Maybeshewill and others and we are proud of».

Ronny Taylor are: Mario Rossi (drums), Paolo Brondolo (bass), Zevi Bordovach (piano) and Giuseppe Franco (guitar). Their sound stretches from prog and instrumental-rock, ‘til jazz. Originally Ronny Taylor was a girl (Ronnie) that didn’t make out with one of the musicians, so they decided to keep the name.

Rock.it says about “Dateci i Soldi”: «It’s definitely a good album for those who love this genre. Ronny Taylor’s technique combined with their good and spontaneous dose of creativity, allows them to blend sounds and different stiles. I can only wish you a good listening session».

OUTsiders Musica says about Ronny Taylor: «Four aliens came from a very far away planet where music doesn’t exists: once arrived on our planet they had to adapt themselves. To do so they used their extraterrestrial powers to digest and throw up straight on our faces everything included fromBig Black to Primus, going through Yes and Fugazi». Click here for Gianpaolo Iacobone’s review (Italian).
